“A personal gesture also happens in the series Planets, which can be from our own galaxy or from some more distant space, imaginary or real, like a memory from a “parallel universe”. It is about finding and keeping the light in a world that is in many cases also heavy and dark. It is linked to the belief that we will be able to carry into the future anything that has “light” and the quality of “good vibrations”.

The planets are not just objects in space, they have lives of their own, and the planets of our Solar System, in particular, are intensely connected to our lives and destiny. I didn’t just paint the planets, but for a few years I had a systematic energetic connection with them.”
