Art in thought, creativity in painting
“How do I touch the painting, how does the painting touch me? Where does its energy come from? Between dawn and dusk, the day unfolds, revealing coloured shapes. Colours are created by looking and wanting to be looked at. Each stroke is like a verse in a poem, the image is always in the making, never quite finished; it continues in the next part, the next breath, the next stroke.”

On Earth
Painting landscapes is a personal and profound experience. When I left the walls of the studio – where there is no influence of earth, water, wind – a world of many horizons began to open up.
By the water
The decision to have complete outdoor painting cycles came from an inner journey. The feeling of following and reprogramming the codes of the isms seemed unbearable; the need for authentic expression fierce.
The Awakening
Lyotard’s thesis that a painting is a “transformer of energy” means to me that it transcends an impression, an expression, and is capable of changing its “vibrational potential”.
